Roses by D'Orsay, circa 1912, a Baccarat satinized crystal perfume bottle, with stopper and cover mounted with R. Lalique figural metalwork designed by Julian Viard in lavender suede box with gold moire interior, 1912. Stamped RL on metal. 5 3/8".

Roses by D'Orsay c1912

Roses by D'Orsay, c1912, perfume bottle by Rene Lalique, clear and frosted glass,base has ribbed motif,  figural stopper of maiden, 10.2cm high, molded 'Lalique'. This bottle was also made without the ribbing on the base for Maison Lalique.

Stopper barrel polished. Ht. 5 1/4 in (12.5 cm)

Au Coeur des Calices by Coty c1913




Au Coeur des Calices (Marcilhac p. 926) designed for Coty, model introduced 1913, in pale blue glass, the squat, circular, domical bottle molded on the interior with three rows of petals, with figural bumblebee stopper. Bottle stands 2.5" tall.





L'Elegance by D'Orsay c1914

L'Elegance by D'Orsay c1914, perfume bottle by Rene Lalique. Clear and frosted glass molded with nude female figures, 9.8 centimeters tall rectangular bottle, molded with D'Orsay and Lalique.
 



L'Effleurt by Coty c1912

L'Effleurt by Coty: launched in 1912.


L'Effleurt was housed inside of a Rene Lalique flacon that featured a molded glass label showing a woman rising out of a swirl of incense, which hearkens back to the origin of the word perfume, which is derived from the Roman, "per fumum", which means "through smoke".

Scarabee by LT Piver c1909 perfume bottle, clear and frosted glass in the shape of a scarab beetle, applied sepia patina, manufactured by Rene Lalique. Lalique manufactured three different bottles for the Scarabee line for LT Piver, a powder box was also created (see last photo).
